We had a last minute change in the spelling but she's still Jaciellie. We went in yesterday morning around 6 am and the Doctor broke my water. I was trying to see if I could get things going without the pitocin. Around 8:30 we decided to have them start the pitocin because nothing was happening and I didn't want to be there all day I was still 4-5. Around 10 doctor came and checked and I was 5+. We kept increasing the pictocin and still not very strong contractions or one's that were steady. Around 11:30 we upped it as far as it would go and I started feeling them I decided that I wouldn't be tuff enough to make it through them until labor and things seemed to be slow I was still 5+ so I told the nurse that I was ready to get my epidural. Around 12 they came in to get that started and when they were finished the nurse checked my and told me I was an 8. Kind of surprised I went 5-8 in like 30 minutes. Well the epidural was working ok on one side but I was still have some pain from contractions on my left side so they clicked a little button to make some more meds come through and after about the 3rd contraction I couldn't feel the pain anymore but I was starting to feel pressure so the nurse checks me again and says I was 10 and ready to push. I was so surpsied things happened so quickly but also very relieved. We waited about 10 minutes for the doctor to get there and I had 2 1/2 pushes and she arrived at 12:52 pm 7 lbs 15 oz and 20 inches long. Healthy and strong and ready to eat. She was my first to do that and I didn't even get sick during labor like I have before so things just went really smoothly and quickly. She is beautiful with her own little look. I knew she would look different from the others by the ultrasound picture and she definatly does. Randy said at least 1 of the 4 could have my jeans. I think she looks like my dad. just waiting for the pink splottches and puffiness to go down but she's a keeper. The kids were able to come to the hospital and see her. Avrie was excited as can be Kelsie was worried the crying was going to keep her up at night and Andrew looked at her like" you are not Jaciellie" (he thinks my belly button is Jaciellie) he is used to her now and wants to see her and covers his eyes when she cries. He even took diapers to the garbage for me so he's ready to be a big bro. Thanks mom for all your help with the kids this week. Grandma Allred Grandma Richardson and President Doty and Karen all came to visit us in the hospital it was nice to have some visitors!

One last Hoorah!
Well tomorrow is the big day! Last night we decided to head to cedar to drop off the kids to play with their cousins since Ben was up from Arizona then we wouldn't need to worry about where to send them this morning while I went to the doctor and in the morning when I get induced. Sounds like they were having a great time today and so were me and Randy just chillin'. We went to the doctor this morning got all my nervous questions asked and things were looking good. She is low and dialated 4-5. So all good news. We went out to lunch then walked some stores to help my full tummy settle I got to come home and take a nap and then we headed to a movie now it's time for bed. It is my last sleepless night being pregnant. From now on I guess it will be sleepless nights with a little one but at least no more heartburn! I am second on the list so I should get to go in early so maybe by lunch our little one will be here. Thanks mom for taking the kids and Thanks Randy for the date day! Love you!

Is it really over already?
Yes I mean Christmas, not the pregnancy. (if all else fails she'll be here on the 30th anyway) Christmas Eve the kids wore their shirts from Bethlehem that mom brought back for them they were so excited for that. They each got to open their one present (pajamas) Andrew was so happy to finally be able to open presents he has waited so good even he asked about it everyday. Santa must have done a good job since the kids were smiling all day. The kids went to bed so good on Christmas EVE I was wishing they would do that every night. They woke up around 5:30 (I guess they were a little excited) so we got up to see what Santa had brought and to open presents. The girls had left their Christmas wish lists for Santa on the counter and were very happy to see that he left a little note for them too. Around 8 we headed to poppy and nana's house for breakfast and more presents. The kids were excited to see that santa had made it to their house too. The had a great time playing with their new toys and their cousins. It was a good day and just relaxing. I keep wondering why people get so stressed about Christmas I guess I'm just a simple person. I will have to post pics later for some reason it isn't working for me today. Oh well I hope you all had a good Christmas!

Week 39!!!
Wow we are finally getting there!. I was up all night with contractions and finally decided to take some tylenol to help me sleep. I guess it helped to relax my muscles too I was able to actually get 1 1/2 hours of sleep at a time and woke up and they quit. Oh well I went to the Dr. This morning and I am a 4 and 80 % so hopefully not too much longer. the contractions last night must have at least been helpful to help me dilate some more. I am Still having contractions today so that's a good sign. What a good little Christmas present she would make.

Kelsie's letter to SANTA
Kelsie and Avrie have written about 10 letters to the Good Ol' Fellow but today this was the best so I had to write about it. I took a picture of it but you can't see what it says so I am just copying what she wrote to SANTA.....
Dear Santa,
all i want for chistmas is littlest pet shops and elvis and the girls doll with him but i don't know her name and that is all i want for chistmas. oh and Santa what do you want for chistmas? Is it milk and cookies or just cookies?
Oh i forgot one thing I also want the polly pocket that you can change their body. I love you santa. But Santa sorry to say chistmas is not all about you and the presents it's all about Jesus birth.
But will you still bring me my presents?
Sincerly,
Kelsie
Isn't that the best! Good thing she knows what Christmas is really about too bad she still wants presents! By the way the elvis doll is a Barbie she just saw in the store the other day it was him and Priscilla. She doesn't even know who Elvis is just liked the look of them I guess. I told her I hope she is just grateful for whatever she gets this year since she has been saying what she wants all year she can't change it 4 days before Christmas Santa doesn't have time to make new toys! I guess we will see how excited she is Christmas morning. I hope Santa did ok!

Seriously???
Kelsie got Avrie good with that snow ball!
Ok so YES it did SNOW in good ol' DiXIE. so not FAIR but hey the kids got a snow day out of it and didn't have to go to school YEAH! Of coarse there really wasn't that much snow but seeing how this is rare for our part of the world and I don't think the city even own a snow plow we get to reap the rewards of having our children home for the day. Of coarse I do normally like having them home from break but when you have them dying to go outside in the freezing cold and I am just not wanting sick kids when the baby comes it was a little less than joyous for me this morning. Anyway it was good memories for them and they have a great dad who was willing to brave the freezing elements to play with them and make their snowman! Kelsie accidently tipped it over but I'm sure it didn't help that the bottom was the smallest ball of the snowman. Oh well. They also loved the snowball fight they started as soon as their little hands hit the snow. They had a great time and Dad even fixed them hot chocolate to warm them up when they made it back inside. (I was enjoying my nice warm shower while they were deciding to freeze) SOrry I'm not much fun but there is a reason why I live in St. George and it isn't for the COLD! (at least I went out and take pics.) Oh and by the way it really was all worth it, the crying wanting to go outside and cleaning up wet messy floor and soppy cold kids all for this....... did you notice kelsie's face in the pics, she is actually smiling and laughing, that doesn't happen very often for her she is usually so serious for an 8 year old! It was great to get a genuine smile out of the little dear.

WEEK 38!!
Wow we are finally getting there. Had Doctor appointment today and I tried not to get my hopes up thinking all would be the same. Luckily there was some change. I am now dilated to a 3 and 70 % effaced and she is dropping so things are looking up. She probably still won't come this week but a 3 is better than a 2 so I won't complain. I keep calling Kaleb to see if we are having a baby today. He is wishing I would he's been tired and back aches for 2 weeks. GEE sounds familiar. I thought it was funny when he called me back today and said they were walking around the store and he said they had to leave because he was starting to get hungry and his back was hurting. I say it's funny because I actually took Andrew out on a walk this morning around the same time to see if we could get things rolling. Poor guy takes all pain with me. I told him to just expect to have back and stomach pain for the next two weeks. I am scheduled for the 30th for an induction if she hasn't made her way here by then. I am hoping that she does and I don't have to be started. I was a little disappointed they won't do it on the 31st but they aren't doing any inductions that day. I guess they figure it's not fair to let the new years baby come by induction. oh well can you say TAX BREAK!

Week 37
Why oh Why can't this be over yet? I keep feeling like she is going to come any day but she just doesn't come. I guess she will eventually there is no doubt about that. Dr said I was about the same today still a 2 and 60 % but she has dropped so that is good I guess. He said with this not being the 1st I probably wouldn't thin until it was time to deliver. Oh well one can always hope. Needless to say I think to tried to help things along and I don't feel to well today. I am just ready ready ready to have her here. Of coarse I say that and then remember that means going through labor and I'm still not sure how I feel about that. You would think this was #1 instead of baby #4 I still don't feel like I know what to expect. I guess everyone is different. Oh well Hopefully soon it will all be over!

Maternity Photo's

My Friend came and did a maternity photo shoot for me the day before Thanksgiving. It unfortunately didn't go how we were planing because it was raining but I think they turned out great in our little make shift studio! I couldn't wait to get my CD from her so I stole them off her blog for a sneak peak! Thanks again Missy.

Baby Update!
So today was week 36 and we are down to weekly Doctor visits. I do have good news that the baby has turned so that was a relief! I am also 2 centimeters dialated and 50 % effaced! Yeah I wasn't expecting to be dialated at all so I was really surprised. I know a 2 doesn't mean much I was a 4 for 2 weeks with Avrie but a 2 is better than nothing. I am ready for my back and hips to stop hurting and to git rid of the heartburn! Even more I am so excited to have this new little spirit in our home!
Just a little update for Andrew too... he had his 3 year old check up poor kid didn't want to get out of the car because he didn't want to get poked again. He has had blood work done at the hospital the last two times we have gone. I told him he wouldn't have to get poked and he could have a sticker and sucker. He got out and we went into the Doctor. Boy did I feel bad when the doctor said he had to have a shot. I thought he was up to date but he needed his hepatitis A so I figured if they were going to poke him anyway they could give him the flu shot too. I know I'm not a great mom that was kind of mean but he was a brave little boy. He weighs 33 pounds and is 3 ft 3 inches tall. IN the 60% for weight and 80% for height.
